Suit Yourself

sy_cdcover.jpgAfter a long dry spell, the band finally returned to the studio. Frankly, this was not the best of times for the guys. Creative tensions, along with philosophical differences nearly destroyed the band. Fortunately, the guys pulled it all together and completed their first studio album in nearly five years. Once again, Bill Hibbert served as the primary song writer, though, on this album, everybody in the band contributed to certain compositions. None more so than Tim Hadley who penned the title track “Suit Yourself.”

The drum tracks for this CD were recorded at Mr. Small’s Funhouse, with all subsequent work completed at Beacon Hill Studio, in Dormont, Pennsylvania. Well known in Pittsburgh, producer Buddy Hall led the engineering production team with assistance from Rob Garrison, better known for his work as lead singer of The Buzz Poets.

Even though Suit Yourself lacked continuity at times, there were plenty of special musical moments. The band continued to fine-tune many of these “moments” over the years until they became staples of the live performances-much to the delight of the ever-growing Businessmen fan-base.
